World Health Organization is the organization responsible for reviewing and updating the terminology. Our SaaS ORBITS contains a ICD-10 module.
ICD-10 includes codes for two different areas:
- Diagnostics (ICD-10-CM): Hierarchical structure grouped into chapters, each of which contains clinical conditions of a particular domain.
- Procedures (ICD-10-PCS): Axial structure composed of 7 axes that combined represent a given procedure. Each of the axes provides specific information on the different aspects of the technique performed.
